Purpose: “One of the most well-known romantic romances in Persian literature is the story of Amir Hamzeh Sahebqeran, . There are various manuscripts of Hamze-nameh in Persian, the oldest of which probably dates back to before the Safavid period, and one of the latest manuscripts dates back to 1239 AH, which was written by Mashhadi Baqer Bazari. The important point about the various writings of Hamzeh-namehs is their extensive influence from heroic epic texts. This article tries to analyze the influence of the two old and new versions of Hamzeh-nameh of heroic texts from the view of language structure (with emphasis on formal propositions), story patterns , elements, the characteristic elements of heroic texts, and the use of Shahnameh names.
Method and Research: The research method in this article is analytical-descriptive.
Findings and Conclusions: . because there are numerous versions of Hamza-nameh, the author has chosen the oldest and one of the latest manuscripts of this work in order to examine these two manuscripts, which are relatively far apart in time, To dispel the doubt that this influence of the Hamzahnamah on heroic texts was related to a specific period or writing style. Of course, it cannot be ignored that the old manuscript of Hamzeh-nameh was mostly influenced by Shahnameh and original heroic texts, and a few elements of stories, motifs, and structures of Naqali have appeared in it; While, on the contrary, the new edition of Hamzeh-nameh has mostly benefited from the narratives, elements, and writing style of the Naqali scrolls.
Conclusions: Since we examined the two old and new editions of Hamzeh-nameh as a single whole, it was found that they were influenced by heroic literature texts in five ways: 1- Modeling from stories; 2- The presence of characteristic elements of heroic texts; 3- Imitation of motifs; 4- Invoking names from the Shahnameh; 5- Influenced by the stereotyped statements of the Naqali scrolls.
